When you work with me, you’re not stepping into a generic therapy hour. You’re entering a space designed specifically for the complexity of relationships. As a systems‑trained therapist, I see the two of you not as isolated individuals, but as a dynamic, interconnected whole. Your patterns, your history, your strengths, and your pain points all matter here.

My work is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, and Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy (IBCT). These approaches help us understand what’s happening between you, why it keeps happening, and how to shift it in a way that feels sustainable and authentic.

For Couples Who Want More Than Surface‑Level Support

Some couples come to me because things feel tense or reactive. Others arrive feeling distant, unsure how to reach each other anymore. And many come because they’ve tried therapy before and didn’t get what they needed.

Wherever you’re starting, my role is to help you slow down, understand the deeper patterns at play, and create a path toward connection that actually feels doable.

Therapy That Doesn’t Feel Rushed or Mechanical

I keep my caseload intentionally small, and I don’t schedule sessions back‑to‑back. That means I’m not glancing at the clock, racing from one couple to the next, or offering you a diluted version of my attention.

You get a therapist who is present, prepared, and fully engaged — every single time.

In a practice like this, you’re not a number. You’re not squeezed into a system. You’re held with care, clarity, and intention.

A Practice Built for Relationship Work

Couples therapy isn’t something I do on the side,  it’s the core of my clinical identity. For the past 15 years, I’ve been helping partners navigate disconnection, conflict, and the moments that feel too big to hold alone. Even when I work with individuals, it’s still through a relational lens.

This is the work I’m trained for. This is the work I’m devoted to. And this is the work I’ve built Rising Tides around.

Why This Matters for Your Investment

When you choose therapy at this level, you’re choosing depth over quick fixes, clarity over confusion, and a therapist who is fully committed to helping you move toward the relationship you want, not just the one you’re surviving.

Below, you’ll find transparent, straightforward rates for the services I offer. These reflect not only the time we spend together, but the care, preparation, and presence that go into creating a space where real change can happen

Premium Therapy Intensives

Intensives offer a powerful, accelerated path forward — ideal for couples wanting to make meaningful progress quickly.

All intensives require intake session(s), with the number and structure determined by the modality we’ll be using. These sessions are required and are billed separately from the intensive itself.

Beginning with the intake session(s) allows me to understand your relationship dynamics, your goals, and the patterns shaping your current challenges. It also gives each partner space to share their perspective privately and helps us determine the most effective structure for your intensive. This foundation ensures that our time together is focused, personalized, and truly supportive of the change you’re seeking.

One‑Day Intensive

  • 3 - 6 total hours of focused, immersive work, ideal for jump‑starting progress or deepening the work you’ve already begun.  Investment: $1350-$2700

Two‑Day Intensive

  • 6 - 12 total  hours of focused, immersive work across two consecutive or non‑consecutive days, ideal for busy couples or those seeking meaningful, transformative momentum. Investment: $2700 - $5400

Personalized Therapy Without Insurance Constraints

At Rising Tides Therapy Center, all services are offered on a self‑pay basis to protect the integrity and privacy of the therapeutic space. I do not accept insurance and do not provide superbills or documentation for reimbursement. This allows me to offer high‑quality, personalized care without the limitations or requirements of insurance‑driven models.

Couples therapy, in particular, is considered a non‑medical service and is not eligible for insurance reimbursement. While some providers may use codes such as 90847 (Family Therapy with patient present), this is not equivalent to relationally focused couples therapy and does not reflect the nature of the work we do here.

If you have questions about this policy or would like to explore how my curated offerings can support your therapeutic journey, I welcome you to reach out.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
